Your first clean works best when the scope is clear before anyone arrives. Share the rooms and tasks that matter most, the condition of the home and any surfaces that need particular care. Ciao Clean confirms the agreed scope, products and equipment before the booking is confirmed.\n\n## Make priorities easy to see\n\nChoose two or three must-do areas. These might be the kitchen, main bathroom and floors, or another combination that makes the biggest difference to your week. If time remains, lower-priority tasks can follow.\n\n## Clear access, not your whole home\n\nYou do not need to clean before a cleaner arrives. Putting away personal items, dishes, toys and paperwork can make more of the booked cleaner-hours available for cleaning rather than organising. Keep fragile or sentimental items somewhere safe.\n\n## Share practical details safely\n\nTell us about parking, apartment access, pets and surface sensitivities during confirmation. Do not place alarm codes, keys or other security credentials in the online request form. Arrange secure access directly after the booking has been confirmed.\n\n## Know what standard cleaning covers\n\nA standard visit can include accessible kitchen surfaces, bathrooms, agreed dusting, vacuuming, suitable floor mopping and bins. Mould, hazards, biohazards, exterior or high windows, end-of-lease work and specialist cleaning are outside this standard scope. Oven and fridge cleaning are quoted separately.\n\nAlways follow product labels and never mix products when doing any cleaning before or after the visit.
Always follow the instructions on any product label, ventilate as directed, and never mix cleaning products.
